I don't really get what you guys want.

They changed everything in C&C 3 (TW/KW), and you guys hated it.

They changed almost nothing in Red Alert 3, and you guys hated it.

I found those games to be so fucking awesome, except for the Red Alert 3 building fall (yeah, it really look like a toy).

Actually the Kirov design is awesome in Red Alert 3.

I did not like too the Apocalypse losing anti-air, but that was for balanced game sake.

As someone who also loves C&C 3 and Red Alert 3, let me just say... THANK YOU!!! It's nice to see someone put these haters in their place! I have all the RE games (not counting all the expansions), and while I agree with some people that RE3 is different and more cartoonish compared to RE2, I completely disagree with those who say RE3 sucks.

If you want make it less cartoony you just need to play on a map with less blooms.

Ra3 has a overdid bloom to bring up the cartoony feeling from Ra2. It looks less cartoony because it actually is in 3D.

DId Ra2 had the cold dark atmosphere like tiberium sun? NO it was cartoony just like RA3.

Note that Ra3 uses the similar engine asCnC 3 except its highly modified and updated.

Ra2 was a good game but RA3 turned to crap once EA got there hands on it, Like most of the games they make or get there hands on. The only games EA are good for are the Sports games.

Looking at small things in the game shows how EA worked hard on it, they did not wanted to just REMAKE RA2 they added a whole new type of gameplay. You guys just whine and whine like hell, get used to the new gaming styles.

I also believe having 3D graphics forces the game to lose some of its fun which were in RA2.

Well here are my critics (I played the game):

-Too cartoony and unrealsitic (RA 1 and 2 were realisticaly unrealistic- time travel and stuff).

-Building buildings on water WTF?

-No real reosurce gathering (That was one of the top features).

-Special powers (WTF is this C&C generals, the game suxed)

-Soviets have no thanks (They got a robot and something like a cheap rip off which looks like a apocalypse tank)

-The camping is unralsitic-Leningrad is an island and there are carriers in SWIss

If you actually knew something about Ra 3, you knew that with Einstein gone, there is no chronosphere. And i know there is an island in Leningrad, but its way bigger as represented in the game (Same when you are attacking Iceland. You are on an island in the middle of the mainland WTF?). RA3 sux cause it took away, what was best on RA1 and 2 - realism (Not to mention that the game is cartoony as hell).

Well you must admit that RA 1 and RA 2 had way better story, way better champing line (Not as in RA 3 where navy lands everywhere in the world, in places which even cant support it). Units could allso be way better (Esspecialy tanks). Units then allso dont have a periodical attack, but attack constantly (Which is unrealistic). Heroes are allso a rip off. And alltrough the japs are a nice refreshment, they somehow dont fit in.

Awesome sounds? check. Good background graphics? in places, but the trees fall too quickly. Good graphics on vehicles? Well the apocalypse tank looks like the Mammoth from TW, minus the only good part of the Mammoth (Railguns FTW)

Overall, i could live with it...but they could've at least make an effort to make the Apocalypse look a little better, instead of reusing old designs.
