So sick and tired of all "expert´s" comments on every exercise video.. Everyone is a Nobel Prize winner in training... I bet youre all fat, KFC-eating americans..
Funny Workout. Just did it (it's 23:01 here and I already worked out + ate 30 Minutes ago) with a 24 Kg Kettlebell because I thought the idea was funny. It was pain in the ass ^^.
Impressive duration but bad technique. Arms are too wide on the snatch. Your hand is also closed it should be open. The cleans are poor, a heavier kettlebell and you are heading toward broken arm territory! Snatch is good though.
I wouldn't open my hand. I've trained with KBs for 8 years. Perhaps you should put up a video of your own and show us all how you do it so much better.
200kg? what a pussy! i'm squatting 525lbs, and i don't even train the squat. a mediocre squat doesn't make you an expert on ANYTHING. go back to school.
You can use 1 or 2 hands to finish the swings. The most important thing is that you stay moving. The snatches & cleans allow you a moment of rest at the top, but the swings require you to stay in constant motion.
i can both squat pretty close to 200 kg, i'm at 400 lbs so im off by what 18k?, and this trifecta, i'd have to say that the trifecta is tougher. it takes a stronger more athletic person to do the trifecta. incorporating power coordination endurance and other stuff. and thats at 175. how fat excuse me i mean heavy are you koenbp??
Koenbp, Being able to squat 200 kg means nothing as far as functional strength goes.Your legs may be strong but are they agile? are they explosive? Can you turn on a dime? or are you like a tanker ship taking 5 miles to turn around?
Kettle bell training will get you fit, build muscle strength, tendon strength, and cardiovascular strength all at the same time, and it takes less time to workout in general.
I havnt touched a regular weight in years and im in better shape then ever.
@evanbonifacio "Being able to squat 200 kg means nothing as far as functional strength goes"
Being able to squat 200kg with good form is very much a form of functional strength. It may not demonstrate agility, but that is separate from strength. I have used both kettlebells and barbell training, and both develop different types of strength. For many people, explosive strength and endurance are important. However, there are very few people that can compete with the raw strength of a powerlifter.

There are different schools of thought when it comes to strength training. The RKC Hard Style idea is that ballistic movements with high tension and high awareness of form will strengthen the connective tissue through these ranges of motion.
So gay

Your irony is better than mine, which is why you get a better score from the strongman-addicted audience.

Are you supposed to keep your arms straight the whole time?
quakra 4 years ago
No. The arms only stay relatively straight during the swing. The rest of the time, there are definite bends.
