For editing movies, I really like using Pinnacle's Studio Ultimate. It can green screen, it's easy to use, and it has all the sound effects and background music you will ever need.

I got a better Idea for you if you want to REALLY get into Video Editing. The heart and Soul of Filmmaking. Go to Utorrentdotcom or whatever it is... Dotnet maybe. Then download Adobe CS3 Master Suite. That has Every Adobe program you need to make professional video. Well it doesn't come with Premiere. But honestly I like Vegas Movie Study Pro better. WAY cheaper, and easier to use. After Effects is the main program you'll use in there. It's not for beginners, but VideoCoPilot(dot)net has Tut's.

Use After Effects CS3 to create your effects, and than transfer the footage into Premiere PRO CS3 to edit & combine your movie together.

But if you prefer to use another program, that's fine with me.

well you can do anything with after effects, if your editing in FCP anyways why waste your time w/ another program, just leave after effects to the shit that you couldn't do w/o it. The only thing i use AE for that i could do in FCP, is greenscreening b.c. its just so much more accurate, especially when you don't have enuf light

Same here, i used to use pinnacle, started to hate it because of a few repeating glitches it had,, and got rid of it. I use Ulead Media Studio these days.

i got an easier way to do it on adobe after effects.

tek a pic of the background

then do your action

put it in adobe after effects

and use the pen tool and shape out the area not used (the dissapearing bit) then press the arrow nxt to the layer and go on subtract

oh yea and put that picture of the background as another layer

its sound difficult but its way easier than this one
