  • This song runs deep in my soul.

The music speaks across time and space to my beloved, where ever you are... it is time, I have been longing for you all these centuries. It is now time to connect, to heal, to be re-united as the fates have culled for us to be.Ours is galactic in nature, unmeasurable with a yardstick and merges the two of us conplete, in one circle, forever....

  • é uma história maravilhosa.

um filme que retrata bem a busca de todos nós.

  • This song reminds me of the opening of The Golden Girls. And it's so beautiful.

  • Love this song so much that I made my own video! :)))

  • Watched it about sixteen year's ago and I still love it.

  • No such thing... its all in your heads people... all BS...and yeah... think what you want..."maybe you got hurt"... nah... just as you feel it to be true... i feel the opposite...if i give it the possibility to be truth it would be that my soulmate may be on a different dimension or time... just like in the movie...somewhere in time

  • My fiance and I swear were meant to be together. I've known her since I was 8, been in love with her. I've dated other people before, but it never felt right. But when I'm with her, everything is ok, everything feels ok. She almost got married to someone else and it was honestly the worst feeling I had ever had. But now we are getting married, and I couldn't be happier.

  • how can i down load this to i tunes I can not find it there

  • Great tune, great movie.

  • love this movie :D

  • My wife and I were a match made in heaven. True soul mates. We fell in love with this movie the first we ever saw it. Later, as she was dying from cancer at 34 years old and the pain was so bad she couldn't sleep. I would hold her and we would talk about this movies version of heaven, and like Hutton we "built" our place there. It's been 14 years & I still miss her very much. This song still brings a tear.

  • I hope you find her in heaven cause I know she is saving the best dance for last...and that is you.

  • @ooch987 How brave and blessed you are to have had such a love! My heart goes out to you....I pray you find someone while still on this Earth to ...maybe even her; if not I know you will find each other in Heaven. Sincerely, LInda

  • I LOVE THIS SONG, The Movie ( Made In Heaven )

  • This is one of the most beautiful movie that I´ve never seen and this song make me remember that I never danced with somone that was very important to me, maybe someday in a far place we´ll have the oportunity to dance together.

  • Until last night, I have enjoyed 24 years in search of and being haunted by the memory of the first verse. I simply couldn't remember the souce - the movie, the title, the lyricist/composer, or the artist(s). Then, yureka! Made in Heaven, replete with romantic rhythm, melody, harmony, and timbre; magically appeared. My wife and I got teary-eyed listening. She and I have been married for 48 years and our heaven is a nuclear plant fueled by little things. I'm a playwright, lyricist.,

  • This song and movie are so similar to my wife and I. we met in 1986, went our separate ways in 1987 only to think of each other for years as the love of our lives. In 2001 I searched her out. We moved heaven and earth to get back together, stormy lives and past, years of pain and lost souls. We have been married now for 8 yrs. We still have our struggles in life but we are truly soulmates! Made in Heaven!

  • great movie about soul mates

  • Is this the same gal who song in the movie?

  • This is such a beautiful song. Martha Davis has such a beautiful voice.. The movie is just classic. My husband and I have enjoyed this movie for many years. I too married the love of my life. He is truly my soul mate. We are so blessed 29 years together /27 of those years happily married.

  • I married the love of my life at 30 and here we are 25 years later celebrating our union; one we believe was made in Heaven. So, this song has special meaning for us. It is a wonderful song and the movie is fantastic, I especially enjoy the period and location film changes, B&W, soft focus, sharp color, soft focus.

  • wonderful song, wonderful movie. See they have finally released it again on DVD, wish they would release the soundtrack again as well!

  • The most wonderful song ive ever heard all my life. I love this movie so much. Since i am still single at 44 i am searching for my true love. Mabey i will find her or mabey not. But this song is worth it all

  • Thanks for posting a little part of my childhood. Martha should be a saint for this song alone. I was never a big fan of the movie but this song really still gets to me after all these years.

  • I love Martha Davis, and the Motels, and this song.

  • Love this song, Love the Movie it came from: Made In Heaven. Just purchased the DVD, found it on Turner Classic Movie website on sale. No captions, chapters, or xtras, but at least it's the movie. My VHS was worn out. Awesome movie, One of my all time favorites. AND those silly babies above are what is on the front of the DVD, I was shocked. Babies have really nothing to do with this movie at all, VHS had a beautiful photo of Hutton and McGillis, they ruined this DVD cover.

  • love this song....

  • This Song Is So Beautiful, Thank You For Posting This For The World To Enjoy...

  • Great song! Great Movie too! Thanks for posting!!! :O)

  • I love this song too bad i tunes doesn't have it.

  • la cercavo anch'io da una vita ........avevo visto il film un Natale di molti anni fa ......

  • Era una vita che la cercavo...grazie!

  • This song was actually written by Neil Young. And as amazing a songwriter as he is, Martha's version is far superior. Sorry, Neil.

  • Amazing singer, Martha Davis

  • Leaving Ellen Barkin and Debra Winger were not errors. they were uncredited and for a long, long time it was the thing to guess who played Emmet. Debra and Timothy Hutton were married at the time. You can recognize Debra by Emmet's smirk.

  • That beautiful woman singing in the movie is American country singer and songwriter Matraca Berg, not Martha Davis. (She can be seen on You Tube at Made In Heaven 1987 - Part 11 posted by pennup.)

It seems like the movie and soundtrack album had a number of errors and/or omissions. It left out Ellen Barkin and Debra Winger, who played Emmett Humbird.

  • Martha Davis ....made this movie. The music was amazing. I heard her in the

movie and I was floored, I said "That's Martha Davis!!" Only one beautiful woman

can sing so magically, and that was her. Thanks for posting this great song.

  • I love this movie and soundtrack, takes me back

  • Martha Davis is credited with the vocal in the movie soundtrack. Same chick - different recordings with that noticeable difference. Good both ways!

  • The chick on the movie sounded better, but good song

  • such a great song, such a movie...just great!
