Saint Patrick certainly did not bring Christianity to Ireland with beer in his hands. The problem with the church today, is the merging of the world and Christianity. People come and hear the tainted message of today's church and leave with a false sense of security. Thinking, "I can still follow the Bible and continue with my present life style. That Sir, is the doctrine of the Nicolatatines wich Jesus hated.
The chuch of today needs to show the love of God and His lack of tolerance for sin.
Saint Patrick was a cold blooded killer! He drove snakes( slaughtering pagans and other non Christians) from Ireland. Yeah it is quite a person to fallow (<==sarcastic) Funny how things get white washed when Christianity is the "dominant" religion. Today is a day for sorrow for me. So celebrate if you wish but know you are celebrating a killer of innocent people for nothing more then believing something different then the murderous people who hold this day holy.
You know, in Ireland you're not supposed to drink on St. Patrick's day, and it isint a day for jesus persay, its a day for St. Patrick himself for bringing Catholisim to Ireland.
Saint patrick was a murderer. Driving the snakes out of Ireland is a different way of saying "killed non non christian". Convert or die, the 2 choices he gave. He killed men, women, and children. I will drink a beer this Saint Patricks day in honor or the death of a monster. Ceers!!
You are a damn lie pastor. The so called saint was a killer and order by the catholic church to killed the snake ppl who where called druids who left Egypt. he killed over 2 hundred thousand white ppl. You are full of it plain and simple
@nappyg1 so yer saying the original people of egypt WERE white then? HAHAHA fuck you're a retard, where do you get your information, a cereal box? the druids were suppressed by the Roman government from the 1st century CE and disappeared from the written record by the 2nd century, St. Patrick wasn't even born until maybe the late FIFTH century, 300 years later ! The snakes are only representative of pagen religions that often used snakes as symbols, you are totally insane by the way
@PaleBunnySkinForLife you dumb ass ugly bitch I never said that but its mighty funny you took your profile off you ugly trick. monkee go do the research
Shamrocks are a sign of the trinity, Patrick was not BRITISH, show me where it say this, nowhere. He was either Welsh, roman or French, it would be a hard job for him to British when none of them were christian. What culture that seemed totally against it, Ireland is the only christian country in the World that had no martrys speading the faith, Americans again talking like they know what there talking about, when they aint got a clue.
sorry pastor mj, no disrespect. but there were many faces to patrick and many stories. and accounts of his life. his death accrued from any where from 64 to 110 years of age. its most likely that patrick was a scottish highlander in decent. in the trinity patrick found god. and only true men of faith can perform the bonds of matrimony. patrick also found a after life and a chance to live again on this earth. patricks greatness was his downfall and patricks faith increased.
I'm no Christian but thanks for finally getting the story right, Patrick is as Irish as all the other Plastic paddy's that get drunk on green beer every year and thats just the start of the list of things that the irish have claimed but that are not actually Irish.
@sgcskris four leafed clovers are actually totally wrong, Patrick is supposed to have explained the trinity means there is three aspects to the one god, just like a shamrock is one plant with three leaves. This video is wrong alot. Patrick came from either france or wales, and he hated the Irish
This was a good video, a great story and, i like the fact that you did not say not to go have a good time. But i do like the fact that you told the real story.

Prayer of Saint Patrick
Christ be with me, Christ within me,
Christ behind me, Christ before me,
Christ beside me, Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort and restore me.
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ in quiet, and in danger,
Christ in hearts of all that love me,
Christ in mouth of friend and stranger
