It's from a legendary 1985 performance in the desert outside L.A. that I believe (if I am remembering correctly) also featured the Meat Puppets and a young Perry Ferrell in PsiCom . A couple power generators, a few bands and a handful of people out in the middle of nowhere... plus everybody was on acid... supposedly...

It's been in cult level VHS bootleg circulation for years as "Gila Monster Jamboree". I've seen it once or twice over the years and and then found a copy on eBay, just like the Bauhaus concert video "Archive". For all I know it's been released on DVD now as well, as has everything rare and weird and cult video that I used to previously lord over my friends for being cool enough to have.

YouTube has changed all that. Now everything cool is pretty much out there.
