IMO, that is when Brendon in real life found out that Home Movies would get renewed for a 4th season but no more- of course I have no way to prove any of this but I believe firmly. whatever. heresy it breaks my heart when it plays in the series' finale

Everyone always talks about how depressing they feel when they listen to this and think of the last show.. I think of it more along the lines of life goes on. Not an ending , but a great new beginning full if endless possibilities. Such is life.

Home movies was great, but it should never be brought back, their story was told and im pretty contempt with how it ended, we may never know if Brendon keeps up his filming, or if McGuirk ever gets with Paula, but thats the beauty of home movies, it wasnt like other shows, and I wont forget it.

dude i cry everytime i see or even think of the last episode. cause its the biggest most nostalgic memory ever. that show reminds me so much of my own childhood. i mean hell i took up filming because of this show! also i think it makes me cry alot bc like a month after the finale. and i never watched the finale cuase i didnt like the thought of the show ending, but like 1 month after the show ended is when my parents split.
