Thanks to this vid I now have a much better understanding of the Lisbon treaty.

In the US Ireland is viewed as "ungrateful" to the Eu for denying the Lisbon treaty after having been "made rich" by neoliberalism. In the big US papers (NY TImes, Boston Globe etc) all you read is about how Ireland is rich, everyone is rich, fat, and happy.

These critical views are so important and help me to argue against the dominant statey views.
