I love listening to people enjoying Six Flags St. Louis because I go over 20 times each summer and I can always remember the great rides of the park. P.S. Im 12.... but its still awesome.
When I was littleler I went on this and I was also afraid of upside down roller costers and I saw the ninja and I started to cry but I was only bout 9 and now I'm 16
i remember when i first went to six flags i was so scared of upside-down rollar coasters, and the first thing i went on was this and when we were on and saw the ninja right next to it, my sister said to me "i forgot to tell you, theres two cork screws at the end." then pointed at the ninja. i almost shit myself.
I went on this ride in March and at the top of the hill the guy's name was Jim. And my one friend kept being stupid and hitting a branch with his and it hurt him. It was fun
Wow... This ride makes Runaway Minetrain at SFGA look like thrilling stuff. You should get your kids to get on Kingda Ka if you ever get the chance lol.
In 1984, this ride was a stand up coaster. Unfortunately, it was short lived because, a 46 year old woman fell off the ride, and died. Her husband, stopped the rumor immediately about her fainting, and fell when they made the final whip.
I barely remember when there was a side by side coaster to this (this coaster and a "scarier one".. it use to be called just Mine Trains... Was actually the first coaster I was tall enough to ride
i have only been on this once and i hate rollercoasters i was really young and my fam said it was the train that takes you all around and shows you the park. WRONG. i was like 7 and i screamed the whole time now i hate rollercoasters thanks dad
I love the curves on this coaster. I remember when there were two separate sides to this coaster. One of the sides was a rougher ride than the other side.
this ride is kinda gay, it dosent go fast and dosent have very many steep hills at all. the only good part is the part where you drop down in the tunnel.
when I first saw this ride, I looked over @ the Ninja and I thought, "You've got to be freaking kidding me!" How thankful I was when I found out they were different rides...
omigawd when i saw the ninja i freaked out i was like WTF!!!! then i was like THANK GAWD THAT WASNT PART OF THIS RIDE!!! lol i reached out and grabbed the tree branch on the long loopy thing
Mine train might not be the fastest tallest or scariest coaster at Six Flags St. Louis, but it's still one of my favorites. I could ride it over and over again, because it's just.... FUN.
Everybody has a special place in their heart for this ride. That's why it's the only original coaster still in full operation in that park after 40 years and it's the only 1 to have claimed a life and still be in operation at any six flags park. Just food for thought.
I agree with ihmdad. This is one of my favorite rides and this is coming from someone who has lived in St. Louis for all of his life and I'm almost 20 years old.
Was one of my kids' first ride of any of the coasters there; someday when you either mature, have kids, or just get a fargin' clue you may understand how cool the experience is from a father's viewpoint; until then please refrain from name calling, as it only shows a weak mind attempting to sound strong...

I'm not sure if this ride crashed or someone fell out of the ride back in the 80's. The person did die. My dad was at the park the day it happened.
