Palmer is a champ, gets tonnes of the ball, just can't use it well. Rioli uses it perfect 100% of the time, and burns every player off. Love Junior Boy so much. Either deserved the award though, its irrelevant

Yeah this is why he will turn into a Pearce. When Freo get another midfielder in this years draft, they will use him more as this years draft is very talented. Mostly everyone can kick except Mitch Banner. So Palmer will still get some ball, but not as much. Also Ibbo will work more in the centre.

Palmer got the NAB Rising Star Award because he is a first year player and the second best in his team. Rioli did get it because he doesnt stand out as much because there are so many go players at hawthorn. If Rioli was in a shit team he would have won coz he would have been the best in the entire team. Palmer just stood out with so many players not playing well in his team. Palmer is just a poor mans Joel Selwood (palmers alright but i think rioli's better).

Joel Selwood played for a good club from the word go, but just ajusted so well to the club he was a star. Palmer has done that aswell, but guess what!? Rioli and Stokes is exactly what the mighty hawks need, a good freakish cruming foward, speedy, skillful, beautiful tackler, and great kick of the footy. Stuart Dew will be a great addition to the side, big, strong, beautiful kick, and pretty fast to. It's going to be hard to get a spot in the mighty hawks this year, wander how Williams will fit in. Also, I never really saw Osborne as a good player, but he was excelentt on Sunday. Just can't wait to see what the Hawks can produce.
