I completely agree with getplaning's comment here. That is exactly what I thought as I watched this! I was also upset at both of their treatment of Jon. They refused to let him speak (because *gasp* it may go against what they wanted to hear). I sometimes forgot whether I was watching Chris Matthews or the SNL Parody of The McLaughlin Group with the VFF spokesman spinning like a gym stationary bike and Matthews screaming "you're not saying what I want to hear! You are wrong, both of you".
