  • wow i didnt know they made a V8 bean

  • nice. how did u manage to make 2nd gear not shift at 6k like all the other SHOs i see?

  • I shifted it into to second after launching in drive. Then I shifted when the tach got to about 6700 or so (there's a delay so it'll bounce of the rev limiter if you try shifting at 7000).

I've got a SCT Xcalibrator 2 installed in the car now so I can up the rev limiter and change the shift points.

  • loving the fuz buster

  • yup zero back pressure great for your motor, never have to do an oil change again

  • How do you come to that conclusion?

  • does cutting off the exhaust make the car slower???

  • no it gives it more HP cuz it has less restrecion

  • True in some cases but a straight pipe like this will kill your low end torque and will most likely worsen your 1/4 time.

  • alot of people throw a cherry bomb on the end of a straite pipe to SLIGHTLY overcome the low end problem. i like the sound personally so i dont care lmao

  • sounds like a nascar

  • WOW that sounds great... I love SHO's.

  • G-tech.

  • hahaha - was that a G-Tech Pro Meter or a radar detector?

  • I think it's amazing how a 3.4L V8 can sound like that. (I'm not being sarcastic because every other V8 SHO on YouTube sounds like that) The V6 in my van is bigger, and sucks. That could just as easily be the sound of a V8 twice the size. Weird.

  • My bad, it looked like you were just turning the o/d back on.

  • Nope. That's the switch for the cutout.

I did shift from Drive down to 2nd and then back into drive to delay the 2-3 shift but that was off camera.

  • Actually, by his hand he is turning the overdrive back on. SHO's have an electronic O/D off button right there.

  • sounds great

  • opening the hell gate. Ie his lectronic exhaust cutout.

  • What exactly is that??

  • It's a little door that opens on the exhaust system, since the gasses take the path of least resistance they exit there instead of traveling all the way through the exhaust system. It would be more noticable outside probably.

  • What were you doing down by the shifter?

  • Opening the hell gate.
