Hello, first of all, sorry for my language. I have a Telsa and i have a problem. When i put the tape in and I push the button "play" doesnt work:| i have changed that little belt already if you know what im sayin here. There`s like a little motor, when you push the button that thing is rollin. Eh...that little think doesnt work. And i have problem with the sound too, the right channel doesnt work. Please, if you have a solution, tell me
good collection very good, in my collection i have one deck a TASCAM 38 eight channel, and the rest of my collection are more than 120 open reel video tape machines, all in good working conditions..
I am an aspiring vintage collector myself (18 years ol this day), and I can only hopw to build up a collection half as amazing as that - all it consists of now is a mildly battered ReVox A77, some crappy sony, and an old Saba tube-fitted workhorse.
I really like the first pioneer open reel deck. Curious designs tend to "turn me on", and I must say I find the spacing of the reels a bit ood - but so good looking!
yes the pioneers are good looking deck.s technically so so. some are very good. but take the 909. with the blue scale. these machgines aren't very reliable.
ya got some super cool shit there bro

My buddy has a Marantz stereo system which is like 36 watts. You'd think it was at least 200 watts if you were to guess by the loudness of it.

Hey man. Musician here, tired of computers, anything digital. Any recommendations for a moderately priced beginner's analog reel-to-reel?

Hi! I love your video, it's like a vintage playboy for tape lovers! But one thing: why do you say don't buy TEAC or Sony?
QuiltedPine 3 years ago
teac isn't service friendly at all.
sony uses it's own components.

Bravissimo - good video!
Question - why are you dislike GX-635D?
Is there a lot of differences between 635D and 646?
Hope to see a second video soon!
audiolab4u 4 years ago
Hi, thanks for commenting.
well i don't dislike the 635 too much but it has faulty C458 transistors.
and the GX646 rarely has a defect....
so i choose the 646 as my number one...
the 747 is nice too but the 646 is really good!
difference: most of all is internal. the 646 is bigger and somewhat better designed.
HAL4400 4 years ago
thank you for reply!what is your favorite model?i need a very good machine for home to make a good recording, and i don't know which is the best.
aurolaca4500 4 years ago
the best cheap models are
akai 630d 650D (GX77 18cm)
expensive: akai 646 747
revox B77 is a good machine
A77 too but it is ulgy(my opion)
don't buy sony or teac!!
