Paradoxes are all part of life. Even Christ Jesus knew these paradoxes existed. Faith is a gift of God because without Faith its impossible to even please God at all. God doesn't need us to believe in him in order to be real. God isn't dependent on our faith. Our faith is dependent on God.
BEAUTIFUL!! ABSOLUTEY BEAUTIFUL! I have never heard this version until today, but I will listen again (and again). I love acapalla music, and the harmonies I can hear without the music playing. These guys are truely blessed, and a blessing.
Great arrangement of a timeless hymn. Do you by any chance know the tune's composer, which is different than how I first learned. BTW, these guys are really great, I saw them at a conference in Florida a couple of years ago. They are as good in person as on recordings.
I am a choir director in Romania. Glad's Christian music it's a high targhet unto I aspire like musician. That it's a music that should be a really target for each one wants to make a good quality music. Bravos! Marvellous!
where is this? this really looks like a cathedral in spain i was in two summers ago. oh and these guys are incredible, their ability to remain in tune with each other is flawless. The way they voice the instrumentation is incredible.
@deputy8156 Trust me. I'd like to believe in god, but I can't FORCE myself to believe in god (no matter how gruesome Christians depict the afterlife for nonbelievers).
If you are wrong, believers of other religions expect you to go to their versions of hell when you die.
I recommend you see watch?v=czEfLn_ifIU and let me know what you think.
@stegeo3 well i watched the video and found that it is full of hasty generalizations, in fact the guys entire argument was based on one. I recommend that you look at some philosophy terms which enables you to break down an argument so you can interpret it for what it is and recognize when someone is building a poorly founded argument. If you would like some let me know and i can send them to you and from there you will be better able to see a valid argument from one that makes no sense.
A true study in techique, pitch, articulation and arranging., Stunningly incredible performance!!!!

The wardrobe and hairstyles, a bit dated. The quality of the performance, timeless - amazing singing.

I love Glad. My fave verse is second: '...waiting not to rid my soul of one dark blot; to thee whose blood can cleanse each spot...'

Just as I am, without one plea,
But that Your blood was shed for me,
And now I hear you calling me,
O Lamb of God, I come.

@Harmonymaniac Concerning religions, I would be cautious how I used the word, "proof."
stegeo3 1 year ago
@stegeo3 It's not a religious proof, but an emotional feeling of proof!
Harmonymaniac 1 year ago
@Harmonymaniac Emotions are misleading. Wishfully thinking that the Christian god exists is heavily driven by emotions.

@stegeo3 if im wrong for my belief in God what has it cost me ? if you are wrong what will it cost you ?
