@dineshthegr8 How do you know what he was doing? He came running because his mother was yelling at Bhim and Arjun for lying to her and calling Arjun's wife at the time bheeksha. He came to find out what was wrong. He had no saying about Draupadi becoming his wife. It was Maharani Kunti's fault for speaking without looking and saying to split the bheeksha between the brothers.Though Yudhistir was dumb when he staked his brothers and wife at the dice game.

Just like Ghandari is named after the kingdom of Ghandar. If you recall when Rukhmini's younger brother was talking to her father about Rukhmini's wedding, he said that other than Panchali, nobody can be compared to Rukhmini. Neither in looks nor in sanskar.

Panchal Naresh means King of Panchal.

@madmax797 It is supposed to be that a swayamvar will culminate in a wedding, so all the friends & relatives of the bride too were invited to be present, & Krsna was a family friend & so he was their too...It was not like it is here these days, as far as wedding celebrations go...especially among the royalty in that day & age. People today compare it with christian & muslim weddings, but forget that these 2 did not even come into existence till several thousand years later.

Both of you are correct. Krishna makes things easy for those who deserve it. Karna and Arjun were warriors who deserved to lift it because of their true principles and righteousness. But then Arjuna was towards right and Karna was towards bad. So Krishna noded his head to say no to Karna.

Hear the correct way to prounounce Draupadi. Krishna says it correctly. Itis prounounced with no emphasis on letter p. Most others say it as Drapdi which is wrong. Those who have some knowledge of sanskrit would know what i am talking about.
