have to say i entered my first gncc race this past weekend in morganton NC on my LTR450 and I grew up racing MX and TT (flat track) i am in tip top shape and let me tell you 2 hours in the woods, the mud, rocks, stumps, and trails wide enough that you smack your elbows on passing trees is the hardest racing i have ever done. there is no comparison. MX is a 20-30 min race max and TT is a little shorter. I cant walk right, my lower back is stiff and my forearms are still numb.
lol, you have no idea what your talking about. cross country racing is like five times more demanding that motorcross.... I've raced a GNCC in the open B class, and about half way through the race I was hating my life. and i'm in pretty good condition.
GNCC's usually have part of the track as a motorcross track, so sometimes they do have big Jumps... the MX tracks always feels like the easy part compared to the rest.
go race a gncc race and then when you cross the finish line (if you make it to the end) I will help you peel your hands off the handlebars and your ass of the seat.
