United Airlines is so overpriced for their Portland flights. Shame on them. They are a bunch of crooks. I hope the fail for not charging reasonable airfares.

I just checked their airfare compared to Southwest and they're about the same. Although i do agree it's too expensive, Alaska Air doesn't allow free checked bags, and Amtrak takes way too long.

I only know the runway numbers, and the MOST BEAUTIFUL, COOLEST TERMINAL BUILDING EVER. I love the architecture and the interior of the airport. I used to live in Woodburn, Oregon  like 45 minutes away from the airport and I would travel like twice a year. Unfortunately I moved away. But, I will always be an Oregonian. :)

same here man same here. miss it and i recently flew back and like you said the new terminal is amazing. very nice, u dont see many airports like PDX and plus u cant beat the view of mt hood in the distance. PDX is the best!

Haha, I did the KDEN-KPDX flight back in November of 06, landed in the opposite direction though. (28L) Memories!!

they land 28R same direction diff runway. they never really land on the 10's. rare thing to see unless its for noise abatement

mine was a red-eye though. and instead of having a window seat (which i originally had) they moved me to an aisle seat in an exit row...i wasnt happy lol
