I do not consider this the best anime in the nearest bit. It was good, and it had a lot of great aspects. But the story line sucked, and was practically the same every saga. Villain shows up, everyone gets beaten down, goku pulls something amazing out of his ass, villain is beaten. That repeated about 4-5 times. No underlying story, all the amazing stuff was downgraded to a toy (kamehameha, super saiyan etc) So no, it isn't the best, not in any way.

The series went to shit after the Cell saga which itself was really boring. The plot was formulaic get a good villain, have the Z fighters get their asses kicked, and then Goku magically saves the day. Dragonball at least had comedic value and great characters, DBZ after the Frieza saga went to shit and only retards like it afterwards.

Kamehameha, Final Flash, imagine the exhilaration that would be going through your body. A blast with such mass and power as the Final Flash, it'd be bound to strike fear within your body. Actually I beg to differ. DB was 3x better then DBZ simply because DBZ contains a lot more filler and after the frieza saga, it stopped making sense.

Goku was supposed to be THE Legendary super saiyan. The show just stop being "really good" after Frieza because almost every saiyan magically gained the ability to become a saiyan. Goten could go SS at the age of 8!

The show was great up until after frieza saga. After that, it started going downhill.
