  • I wonder if these resins are suitable for small tank of petrol to Bike

  • @jpintoedp Yes, epoxy resin is. if it were me though, i would line area's prone to coming into contact with the pavement, i'd line them with a couple layers of kevlar. there's a post on a forum of someone doing a tank build up for a modified tank (person wanted a skinnier tank)

  • Amateurs.....

  • what is the pva for?

  • when were these vids made in the eighties ?

  • only when sanding the fibreglass will you need to worry about airborne glass fibre. weaved fibre is quite stable

  • he's probably working in a well ventilated area.

the fumes from the resin isn't airborn particles like spaying paint would be.

  • I can't believe the guy in the video isn't wearing something to protect his lungs? BAD IDEA!

  • He's using epoxy so it's less toxic and almost odorless...

  • Thanks, I didn't realize that. However, it's still probably a good idea to wear a dust mask because sometimes a little of the fiberglass fibers can get into the air,

  • @brionifitch epoxy is more dangerous, and very toxic, specially because its oderless!!!

  • @m00fa actually you sould work outdoors with wind or a fan and then its probably safer than gasing up the old horseless carriage.

  • @m00fa it was sarcasm
