  • Bloody Air New Zealand! But very good piloting skills for the situation

  • lol, "Thank you for enjoying air wellington" lol

  • I wonder if the crew feathred the props prior to land.

  • nah they didn't. it would be safer if they needed power for a go around or something

  • more to the point it's not the procedure thats set out, and besides it wouldn't have saved the props from total destruction

  • eagle airways and air nelson are subsideries of air new zealand and handle the smaller domestic routes, air new zealand has argueably one of the best engineering/maintenance records in world aviation, one airline i wouldnt fly on in NZ is QANTAS, they send all their old shit over here for the NZ domestic routes, you know the plywood sheet for the cockpit door, chickens roosting in the overhead lockers lol, sorry about my spelling in here

  • Hey JChubby

That plane is a Beech 1900D but the company is called Air New Zealand not Eagle Airways.

  • Eagle Airways is a subsidary of Air New Zealand, so technically it is Eagle Airways you are flown on, they are just taking passengers for Air New Zealand. Basically we are both right.. :)

  • haha chubby. did they dump fuel before they landed?

  • Nah you can't dump fuel mid flight on a Beech 1900

  • bro am pointing on the other models which manufactured in more than 20 years.

any way these incidents "wheels" happend always. However, this pilot has deal with this situation in professional way.

    cheers bro

  • He sure did!

  • very very dumb comments, are you incinuating that air new zealands planes are all to old (even tho this one is near one brand new) when infact air nz's avg fleet age is one of the newest in the world, with the highest engineering standards? Dont get GA and Commercial mixed up. Qantas NZ operate the oldest most unsafe aircraft in our skies.

  • UNFORTUNATELY, NZ

  • NZ airlines has the oldest planes, lets say they are expierd. they should change it ti the modern ones

  • The Beech 1900D was only delivered in 2002...last time a checked thats not to old. They may be slightly out of date new planes (1991 technology), but are still safe and reliable.

  • oi nigger what the fuck you talkin about you curry scum bag hahaha fuck look at all your second rate 2-bit piece of shit airlines in india or paki or lanka or banglawhatever where ever you come from, you dumb cunt you cant even spell properly hahaha fuck off

  • Learn your shit befor you say that air new zealand has a old fleet.the Beech 1900D 2002,Dash 8 2006, Boeing 777 2005, Airbus A320 2003, Boeing 737 300 1999.

  • Pilot = pro

  • Well at least it wasn't accidental.

  • Great. I've got a flight tomorrow... Keep ur fingers after that mov.
