i live in mexico and i would like to know where i could buy one maybe no a tt01r but any tamiya would do i guess i just want to get in to the rc world. could you please help?
hey!! are there different kinds of ESC's just for drifting??? cuz i have a hobbywing EZrun series kit including a 60A SL ESC 7.5T motor and a program card
@masterkdrifter well it really depends on the material that is used to make them my friend - hard rubber, soft rubber, plastic.. all different, for different applications. Hard plastic usually for drifting, soft rubber for higher grip. Grooves can remove traction on some surfaces - and give more traction on things like.. carpet racing. So really trail and error for your driving styles my friend ;)
DOES ANYBODY KNOW OTHER BRANDS OF BODY THATS NOT TAMIYA AND FITS PERFECTLY WITH THE TT01? CUZ THE STORE I GO 2 DOESNT HAVE ALOT TAMYIA BODIES AND THERE ARE OTHER BODIES WITH DIFFERENT BRAND AND I DONT KNOW IF THEY CAN FIT PERFECTLY ON MY TT01E.
Hey DIFF! Good to hear from you my friend! If you check my vids.. I did do an MCX Blade micro heli! i will do more in the springtime :) BOATS are definitely on my list! Thanks for commenting bud.. always good to hear from you
Hey Tim... I think you should get a drift car... we'll go racing! Maybe can get some interest goin' on down at Karz, hey? That would be slick.. lol.. no pun intended
I could just change out stuff on my racing TT01. I'm not sure what drift tires would do to the tile floor surface at the HHCC. I think it would have to be in a warehouse or someplace with a cement floor.
tt01's are lemon squeazy to build, i can build one in 30 minutes or less without a manual. the shoc towers break often, so get spares. the a-arms bind if not cleaned regularily and the driveshaft will wobble and make âlot of noise if you dont keep it straight.
Good to know then man.. thanks for the heads up.. thats something I will investigate further. I wonder if its because there are other weak points inthe vehicle. Im going to be strengthening ti up substantially.. so Ill keep my eye on the drive shaft. Cheers m8 - Good on ya
a couple more weaknesses: the gear cover holds the motor in place, and the screw threads holind that on tend to strip, so put a drop of CA in the holes before screwing them in.
also watch out for the diffs, the ring gears are plastic and suck when used with brushless.
AWESOME INFORMATION man! Thanks! I will take that advice... I have a ton of additional parts I will be swaping out, instead of the stock options... but your advice will be used. The rings in diff intrest me greatly.. and I thank you for that info. I will search and try to find alternate ones. Cheers bud
hey medic!!! I have a question: what is the best brushless ESC for under $50? I'm trying to upgrade my Exceed Rc Champion

Hey, medic! Just so you know, the chronological order of this playlist is backwards (Vid 5 = Pt. 1, Vid 4 = Pt. 2, etc).
Just thought you'd like to know and possibly fix it. Great vids!

how can i get that spoiler ? plz help me!!!!!!
carmodif 1 year ago
What are the spoilers for? i mean what do they even do? Are they just for looks or something with air drag or something
lourke123 1 year ago
@lourke123 a spoiler is a surface for moving air to push down on. They are designed for pushing the rear of the vehicle down so it gets more traction

ths wont be your normal TT01.... keep watching.. you'll see ;) (p.s) the tt01R has an aluminum drive shaft.. heh heh

i know it has an alum driveshaft, thats what bends and makes the noise...
