No Christmas without Mannheim Steamroller. They are wonderfully talented, and have a marvelous, exhilarating style. The sound is great to most any music lover. ~ Janice
I have listened to Mannheim Steamroller ever since they came out. It was always playing in our home. My dad loved them so much. His favorite by them was their version of Silent Night. Silent Nichte. Anyways they are an awesome band, they sound great live, and now my children enjoy them. I can't imagine Christmas without Mannheim Steamroller!
More bands/artists need to be like this when it comes to Christmas. Seriously, it's like the holidays mean it's time for the slowest and most depressing music ever to come out. Thank you, Mannheim Steamroller (and another good band, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra) for showing that christmas music can be elegant AND fun at the same time.
Anyone that says that The sysnths sound "cheap" should realize that some of these songs are 20 years old. Also, if you say they all sound alike, you haven't listened to very many of their songs...and should refrain from talking because you sounds stupid.
I think your video with Mannheim Steamroller music is beautiful. I'm just curious though - all of my videos containing Mannheim Steamroller music as audio feed was blocked due to copyright infringement. I was wondering how you are able to continue using Mannheim Steamroller music without "infringement". I wrote to Mannheim Steamroller before I put their music in as my background-asking specific permission. But your video is very nice. Love always.

this brings me back to the 80's... when it was fashionable to take a beautiful music -and there's some great symphonic version of this one- and screw it up with a cheap synthetizor sound. It loses all sense of grandeur!
I wish more people could understand the power of instrumental music. Words would complete ruin this arrangement. I don't know about you, but I always feel more moved by instrumental music because I can connect and apply the music to how I see fit. I leaves option for interpretation.

I agree with the "cheap synthesizer" comment. All of the Mannheim Steamroller songs sound alike.
