I have students listen to his music for extra credit and forumalte a reader response to his lyrics and music. I ask them to note the connection/disparity between his music and lyrics. So far several have responded by saying they added his music to their Ipod. Good. This music defined my life when it came out. I hope it defines theirs.

Yeah Ian Browne is a great drummer. He's got a bunch of projects he's working on locally in the Vancouver area. I should probably shoot him an email to see what he's got going now.

I became friends with him not knowing he was the same Ian Browne from Matt Good band lol. I found out like after a year later. He's unbelievably humble about his past as a band member. Good soccer player to boot; we played together for a while. Man, we're due for an indoor session lol.
