I read the book because of this song. A wonderful book, a wonderful song. There's something very sweet and innocent about both even though they deal with serious things. I like the old translation of the little prince better than the newer one.

I never realised until today that this song was about The Little Prince. I re-read it yesterday and then listened to this song again and I thought HOOOLD OOON. The first line especially 'You have tamed me, now you must take me'. Like the fox said, if you tame something it's your responsibility. If you take a single rose out of fifty thousand roses it becomes unique to you because it is your rose. Aaawwrr. Such a lovely story. And Regina is an amazing woman.

"Le Petit Prince" is a children's book written by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. It's really, really beautiful and you should definitely check it out. This song references the story a lot.

It's one of my favorite books, and therefore this is one of my favorite songs by Regina.
