Somebody once told me that the Z28 name came from 28th street here in Grand Rapids, due to the presence of a large Chevy dealership here (Berger Chevrolet). Anyone know if this is true, or was someone just BS-ing me?

I'm a mustang guy myself, but I have to admit, these head/cam LS1's are street terrors. Chevy perfected the pushrod design while ford jumped ship. The new 3v GT's run good (took this long to get the SOHC right), but if you want a sic street car and don't went to mess with F.I. LS1 w/ heads and cam is the way to go. (I just hate the look of the Camaro)

i watched a new 3v GT with 6psi vortech blow on the dyno first pull.. the connecting rods are weaker in the 3v than the old 2v yet they give the 3v more power...

This car had some different setups. The heads / cam setup was just over 400rwhp, and the TNT shot was jetted for ~150rwhp.

no, it was replaced with a Futral Motorsports forged 346 and then the car was sold

I had 4.10's in the stock rear. Then bought a 9" rear and it had 3.90's which I replaced with 4.30's.
