  • Great video but does anyone else think that Barry looks like one of the Wolfe Tones in this video?

  • The Case of the Invisible Banjo Should be the subname to this video.

  • The head stock on Barry's bass is massive

  • Horslips have been and will always be a fantastic band ........And to get such a great sound on top of a bank ....Unplugged ?....I suppose it's not wise to be standing in a puddle when plugged in !...............Great Band........Cheesy Video.

  • I agreee.Im 70 years old.. love these guys...ooooh baby.I half irish tho...lol

  • Love the song and love these guys' style!

  • stunning then stunning now - will be with us forever

  • ha not bank of ireland anymore thats what ya get for bad investment kids

  • @Kingsize2222 HI-YO

  • the coolness of this band is of the scale. A shamrock bass, playing on top of a bank considering the economic state of the country and the drummer looks like a fuckin legend + not forgetting them mad fiddle skills.

  • How does this have under a thousand views!

  • @Ickleosh

maybe because they were far too rock for the folkfans and too folky for the rockers.

i saw them in 1977, when i was 15 at an irish boy scout festival and was disappointed. i was heavy in folk at this time and (as a german) knew most of the irish, british and english folkszene.

for me they looked as, sorry, pimps and their music was far too straight for me. i tried it again 20 years later or so, but i fear we won´t become friends.

  • Listening to this makes me want to gather a band of adventurers and raid some cattle.

  • great into ROCK ON
