@rangu66 I picked that cigar up in Cuba for 20 Cuban Convertable Dollars (at the time approx 25 USD). I have since purchased them in Canada for around 52 to 60 USD. Hope this helps.
@cigarnguns I agree that odourless gas is the best way to light a cigar but I quite like using a cedar strip to toast the foot of the cigar prior to lighting and for lighting the cigar! It adds a nice flavour and is a traditional method of lighting cigars - give it a try. Use the cedar strips that come with the cigars boxes or get them from the cigar shop. It is pretty much the only way that I light cigars now. The only time I use the torch is to relight or when it is windy.
I just bought another box of 5 coffins - Montecristo A's. They are sitting in the humidor. I smoked this last one on my birthday - July the 9th is comming up quick!
is it possible to resmoke cigars (in other words, say you do not have the time to smoke a cigar in one go could you smoke it for say 20mins, stop smoking it, then relight it late?).
@dougpryce92 I have never left a cigar that has gone out for any length of time. I have read that if a cigar has been partially smoked then left to go out it can be smoked later - it is recommended that it is not left for more than 4 hours as the flavor of the cigar will be affected; but I have never tried it. I try to just smoke a cigar that is appropriate to the time that I have. If I am pressed for time I smoke a smaller cigar.
@dougpryce92 The Monte A takes a considerable amount of time to finish so I would only smoke it when I know that I am not going to be doing anything for at least 2 hours. Sit back and relax! Hope that you find this helpful.
Also got 5 mothechristo's from my father. Smoked mysecond one today - earthy, soft, some little burning at the top of the thounge but all in all a nice flavor.
It's a great cigar! I had no draw problems - the construction was perfect - I have been waiting to buy another box of 5coffins. 9 1/4 inches long cigar that exceeded my expectatons!
thanks - I love their music and cigars as well! I just posted "Partagás Edición Limitada 2008 " video on you tube as well. One of my favorite cigars with my all time favorite cuban tune Despacito by Fulanito.
