I don't know what to think of this movie. I liked the idea, it was so original and deep, but it just left me with a bad taste in my mouth. The film set Craig up as the relatable one, and the one I should feel sympathy with, and yet he's the one who is forced to suffer horrifically at the end of the film, purely because the unlikeable one is a lesbian, which apparently makes it alright?

It's about how you deal with novelty, and how you receive information, how you experience it. In the movie, Greg is experiencing to launch his career; Lotte is really involving herself emotionnaly, she abandons herself to experience it totally; Maxine is not interested about experiencing it, she only uses it to make some money and finally, Dr. Lester is experiencing it in a way that he could live forever.

But it's about many more than just that...

While their bass player was pregnant from the dude from Sevendust another chick bass player with red hair took her place at the Newport show in Columbus Ohio.(They're both hot) i got on the bus with them and then got kicked off because i didn't have any X. but the drummer threw a signed demo CD of chamber music on the ground for me so i could have the last one.

I saw this with my parents, who spent the time saying alternately "this is weird" while I accepted that very obvious fact and spent the rest of the film just staring at it in a kind of dazed awe and admiration. This movie must be seen to be believed.

P.S I am SOOO glad that they credited writer Charlie Kaufman in this trailer.

When the guy yells "Hey Malkovitch, think fast" and throws a beer can at him, it was real, and unscripted. One of the extras was drunk while on set and just lobbed a beer can at him. They decided not to cut it, and as you can see,  it worked well.
