他說的是抑揚intonation，不是聲調tone。英文沒有­聲調，中文有聲調，而全世界的語言皆有抑揚。

哈哈！我很久之前就发现了这现象，还真的以为那里的人都是学电脑­的语音来发言人的，但看来是我想错了，原来那是因为地方性的口音­造成的，说话很没感情的。其实很多地方国家的人都有这问题的。

AND, NOT the proper way too.

This clip also showed that he's totally lack of knowledge in English IPA & phonics as well as speaking improper English. Yes, of course, he can bluff a lot to students of all levels. Sigh, this is HK!!

he is talking about intonation here, not pronunciation. so, i think IPA or phonetic doesn't help. besides, he is just pointing out the common mistake for hong kong people. i will take it as a reminder more than a lecture.

My suggestion: Watch the English speaking channels when you watch TV. Tune in the English speaking channels when you listen to radio. I think this helps a lot.
