Two fatal mistakes that Phelps makes: (and no, I don't think I'm better than him. I've been a coach for 5 years now, and I'm a national level swimmer myself, so I have some expertise on the subject) #1: At 5:01 he should have taken one more dolphin kick in order to get him closer to the surface; look at how his body is on an angle against the water on his first stroke, he ends up pulling himself to the surface instead of kicking. Secondly, on his last length he pulls while he is still breathing.

Great quality vid.. But why did Phelps go really really slow... Probably saving it for the olympics.. Doesn't want to show all of his skills until 2012.. Gppd strategy..

@Nnd12nghgsmsh I don't know, but why does it have to save it?? I think you guys just underestimated Lochete... He held a new world record after suit banning. And 2012 is still a year from now? Why would he save it when Phelps is a guy that wants to WIN WIN WIN in any game..
