I had the pleasure of attending school in Rochester, NY with Steve Green the bass player and group co-founder. He had relocated from Philly to Roch for a short while (circa 1973) and attended the alternative high school, the School Without Walls where I met him through a mutual friend. About 6 years later I had the added pleasure of booking Breakwater for a concert at SUNY College at Brockport. They did not disappoint!

Even though I'm from Chicago I went to college right outside Philly (Villanova). I go home the summer of 1980 all excited and trying to play my Breakwater album and my friends were't feeling it in Chicago. I was so hurt. This group got no exposure! Tragic!
