You had a great idea. Unfortunately you didn't use it to it's full potential (don't be insulted). You were kinda random and everywhere with this, essentially this should be a vid about Koyuki and Maho. The parts where the band play the chorus is a good move, but I would use more engaging parts of their relationship. For example, I'd use the moonlight swimming/end concert during 1:00-1:25. I would say that you should consider a remake, a little more scene planning would make this a great video.
I agree with you, he could definitly use the actual music video for some pointers and replace the scenes with BECK. Chad Kroger can be replaced with Kouki and Santana can be replaced with Ryuske.
