    HAHAHA BRING IT FOOLS!

    :46

    OH MOTHERF---

  • Reminds me of the Battle of Messiah, Assault on REQUIEM...

  • Uh, just so some ppl know, that hole is an exhaust port so the death star won't meltdown. It was ray-shielded , but not particle shielded. That's why they shot torpedoes instead of lasers

  • @actaviousblacker OH MY GOD.....WHO. THE HELL. CARES.

  • @rietveen26 THE PPL WHO CARE!!! DUH!!

  • @actaviousblacker haha, it was actually a family guy reference, not intended to offend you :)

  • @rietveen26 No one is going to get crappy Family Guy references when you're not even hinting at it on your comment. Sarcasm/jokes are not that easy to spot sometimes...also, CAPS LOCK DOES NOT HELP AT ALL SINCE IT SEEMS YOU'RE GOING PSYCHOTIC

  • @ShadowxofxDesolation dude, the whole comment is a literal quote from peter. try not to get upset next time, it was just a joke.

  • my favorite part is the first half long live the Empire :)

  • ich bin so traurig, dass der todesstern im film noch aleraan erwischt hat.

  • I like the first one better

  • @Legoghost14 Ja, Lang lebe der kaiserlichen Regime!

  • is there third option?

  • @gre68 Yes watch: "Han Solo Destroys The Death Star!!!"

  • 0:31 This item is no longer useful,Will you discard the planet?

    >(YES) >NO

0:34 You have discarded the planet.

    (resident evil reference)

  • wtf the torpedo bounced :D ROFLMAO

  • cool...wait... wasnt that earth?!

  • @NebulaOrbit You fail geography forever.

  • DO ALL THIS FOR REAL AND JOIN THE STARWARS COMBINE

    LONG LIVE THE NEW REPUBLIC!!!

  • hahaahha did the torpedo bounce on the rim of the port?

  • bet their insurance company was PISSED!

  • cool

  • may I ask why put a long straight route down a ship and a big hole at the end that basically says shoot here. seems a bit retarded 4 the empire if u ask me. next time empire plz go with the star forge...........R.I.P death star beast wepon eva :D

  • @COGmarine lol. no no. There was a "Secret Path to Core below this hatch. Shoot here to destroy." sign at the end of the trench.

  • @COGmarine IT was it's equator which for some reason it needed. And I think that hole was to cool it down or something, got to love when you know something one second and forget a second later XD

  • So, was that the scene that plays when the rebes engage an Imperial fleet that includes a Death Star?

  • @Falchion1984 no. its the scene that appears when the enemy fleet is destroyed and the death star is still there in battle.

  • @alenoguerol666 Okay, thanks for the info.

  • 0/5 men this is shit.....

    ONLY JOKING COOL VIDEO!! 5/5

  • R.I.P death star :(

  • lol if only that hole was covered by plywood

  • @harlosik

Yeah, but that would look terrible! you have to think about resale. XD

  • That condo was in a prime location!

  • @harlosik13 but that would look terrible, we got to think about resale value

  • @Deadganon You sir, were reading my mind.

    Fucking kudos for you.

    Awesome video!

  • Any way, death to the Rebel terrorists, long live the GALACTIC EMPIRE

  • Comment removed

  • Death egg and space colony ark from sonic the hedgehog are inspired by Death star!

I must say a briliant idea!

  • shouldent Y-wings destory the DS because they are the ones that carry torpeadoes

  • X-wings are versatile fighters and can be fitted with any missile weapon. Y-wings are slow fighters with heavy shielding and are normally fitted with proton bombs.

  • you know the X-wings were stolen from the empire and a lot of other rebel tech was stolen from the empire like ion-cannons

  • The X-wings were NOT stolen from the empire. The X-wings' blueprints were given to the Rebels by Incom scientists after the Rebels saved them from an Imperial invasion.

  • if anyone wants to play i opened hamachi network Rebellion4 pass: rebellion

  • As you may know the X-Wing trench run may be triggered when battling a fleet wich has a Death Star among them, and if it gets killed or not deppends on if the imperial fighters get destroyed in the battle or not mostly.

Its still quite awesome, specially in multiplayer , because if you play to the result and not play the actual battle, you have no way of knowing if the DS is destroyed or not until the X-Wings begin their run. It happened to me and my brother playing some times and its hilarious

  • Underrated and very enjoyable game. Despite it's many flaws it's simply engrossing to play!

  • 1st xD

  • I think the "OR" should be more dramatic

  • Long live Galactic Empire.

  • The first one is better.

  • no actually this is from star wars supremacy or yanks called it star wars rebellion, played this game for many hours years ago

  • the reason there are no ite fighter is because its a cut scene from the game portraying you have 1 enough tie fighters and the planet gets destroyed and 2 you dont have enough so the death star gets destroyed, this cutscene is about 8 yrs old maybe, maybe more cant remember exactly, excellent game for its time

  • so are you saying enough ties=x-wings failed

    not enough tie=x-wings win.

  • Lol this is such biased pro-Rebel bullshit.

    1. The X-Wing in the trench would've never made it in time to fire its torpedoes.

    2. The Death Star would've fired its superlaser well before the X-Wing even got to the trench.

    3. Where are the TIE Fighters?

  • its actually a game that came out in the 90s and it was a pretty good game.

Well as for fireing the laser before the xwings got there, the death start had to close close enough to do it

But yeah why doesnt the tie fighers destroy the rebel fighers before they ever get that close. That thing had hundreds of thousands of them lol

I guess just to make the game fair

  • I know. The Death Star is in range already at 0:06 and doesn't fire at all, although in the movies it takes about 5-10 seconds for either Death Star to fire its superlaser once in range.

  • This is how the game works: If you have a death star and battle a fleet/planet force wich have fighters.. it may trigger an event of X-Wings trying to trench run your DS, if all imperial fighters have been wiped out, the DS will get destroyed more probably.. if not.. rebel fighters will get destroyed most probably. This video is edited from the 2 possible outcomes and with the DS destroying a planet animation.

  • serious design flaw

  • i actually like the explosion of the Death Star being destroyed. not too bad i guess for a short film thingy.

  • Comment removed

  • dont u mean crappy?

  • THE 2

  • SINS OF A SOLAR EMPIRE FUCK YEAH. also there is a Star Wars mode for SOASE being made.

also yeah -wings suck against DS due to no proton torpedoes so they can't destroy it anyway.

  • It was a good idea to use some music from Shadow of the Empire.

  • lol

  • Someone should turn this concept into a truly great flight simulator.

  • it is alderaan

  • Cheesy.

  • WHY DOES ALDERAAN LOOK LIKE EARTH?!?!

  • hmm... i think it's earth. But i think it's dantoine, or corusant, but extremely poopulated.

  • yah me and my bro would always play this game back in the day.

I thought it really was not so good AI, plus it was far too hard for a game like this.

Other than that, I want it back just to hack it and try to mod it/make it more fair, etc.

  • I remember that this cut scene came up if you were the rebels and the Empire showed up over your planet. While your fleet battled the Imperial fleet, you had the option of sending a squadron of fighters against the Death Star to attempt to blow it up. It actually was kind of hard to do, especially if the Empire had a lot of fighters. And I think that the Death Star could carry some insane number of squadrons of TIE. The Empire got to send a squadron to intercept yours to stop your attack.

  • actually if it gets to that point the Alliance probably has apretty big fleet and alliance fighters tend to have the advantage so it's simply wearing down the empire's TIES often or waiting until the Empire doesn't have the advantage

  • That would work. The only time I ran into this scenario with the game, the Empire had TIE Interceptors and TIE Defenders and several Lancer Cruisers. Needless to say, by B-Wings were the first to go, followed by my A-Wings (TIE Defenders went right after them as I was sending them against the Death Star). My poor X and Y-Wings did not stand a chance and most of them had been lost in attack runs on Strike Cruisers and Victory Class Star Destroyers. My own anti-fighter ships were mauled by Caracks

  • Did you keep your fighters close to your main fleet? I tend to keep my fighters close to my ships to provide support from them. also A-wings can't take out desth stars, they need torpedoes (unless you're playing a modified game, there is a Rebellion Editor that does that)

  • also a tip that might help. you can use the space button to attack the nearest target for fighters its enemy targets, for capships its' enemy cap ships; so you can have your fighters engage the enemy fighters attacking you directly rather then that 'target enemy fighters' whixh goes for the 'most dangerous' fighters that tend to be the bombers and not the starfighters dueling with your fighters!

  • lol

  • Awesome idea for a game but it was pretty crappy. I didn't play it that much.

  • gah,the bad ending(the death star blowing yavin 4) was better(yeah,i love the empire)XD

  • torpedos away! =p

  • man the turdpedos

  • what game is this

  • star wars rebellion, one of the best Star wars games made, even though the AI sucked ass, there are many mods for it though to make the AI better. But for multiplayer, there is no substitute.

  • I read Rebellion got very mixed reviews. There are other areas that fans felt could be improved, like controlling the units during a ground invasion and ship battles being won be more then just brute force. Or at least that's what I read on wikipedia.

  • Man, I wish there was a part where the Death Star got off a shot right as it was blowing up. Wouldn't that be awesome?

  • Yes, but not for the Rebels.

  • @Ved0000

Adywan's Star Wars Revisited has that.

  • @Ved0000 check my Alt. Ending for Ep. 6, the death star fires at Endor and blows up, then Endor blows up.

Go to my vids and click the one right under the one that says "Dagobah System"

  • @Ved0000 watch adywan star wars

  • a great sense of speed when they go into the trench

  • Whoever made this video should be rewarded an Oscar prize for superior realism!

  • Well, there goes all those resources you spent on the Death Star.

It's too bad you can't make a Death Star II in the game, one without the flaws of the Death Star I, so if you completed it it would be an unstoppable superweapon.

  • Yeah that's true. But wouldn't games be pretty boring if the DSII is in them as it can't be destroyed and it can destroy like everything? ;)

    I still want it too.

  • Nah. DSII would only be able to be built after DSI was destroyed. It would also cost a lot more resources and time to build than DSI. So in that way, it'd sort of be like a carrier, a superweapon, and a Wonder like in Age of Empires all in one: really expensive and slow to build, but when it's done, the enemy loses.

At least, that's how I'd do it if I designed the game :)

  • Yep, that'd be a good way :) I'd add one thing more: it would make enemy super-aggressive against you when you try to build it (not sure if a Wonder does the same in AoE, haven't played it). And when finished, the enemy tries to avoid it at all costs.

Heh, I did those things in Forces of Corruption :D it's fun to play as Empire now!

  • lol, 'OR'
