Personally, I've never wanted to marry- BUT that is my CHOICE, which is the key word here. If it's the desire of a committed couple to express their love through marriage, then they should have that CHOICE like any other citizen, regardless of gender. The religious sector in your country (USA) have no right to impose their version of "morality" or notions of what constitutes a family on the rest of us.
