So I tried to replace the hard drive with a solid state hard drive and now the computer won't even boot up. I turn it on and the green LED power on light turns on and the fan spins up then nothing. Acer tech support is useless. I heard that OEM mobos in netbooks perform a hardware scan before boot and if something has changed they will not boot up. The project is now dead for me and all I wanted to do was just make my netbook faster with an ssd and faster latency memory. Gay. Technology is gay.

Hey fidohub, I took mine apart but I think I'm missing maybe the speaker?? Whatever it is, it plugs into the JBT1 port which is about a centimeter north of the JP20 4 port. It looks like its the speaker from the video, but I can't quite tell because your hand is in the way. Thanks man.

@covingtonium Neg, nevermind its not the speakers I found out where those are, but whatever it is, its what plugs into port JBT1. HELPPPPP MEEEEEEEE.
