uhh.. idk if u mean u dont know the difference but heres an explanation: a regular slomo the time chart goes from regular speed to slow to regular. with a ramp slomo it "ramps" into the slow and ramps out. the time chart looks like a half pipe instead of a half square in the ground.

I white balance on auto. Occasionally I have to mess with it a little, but that footage is all on auto.

Firewire is a type of cord that connects the camera to the computer.

The HQ Sony minidv tape made the biggest difference for me.

I modded the lens with a small ring the spacers came with that you can insert into the spacers to create a little more space. It isn't a very significant difference.

In my experience, sure. A little clearer, and a lot easier to overwrite old footage. These aren't HD, they are just high quality (HQ).

Uploading footage and rendering in high quality helps a lot as well.

HD tape makes no difference at all, the GS320 records standard definition whatever type of DV tape you're using, it won't improve the quality. You'll only notice a difference if you're using a HD camera and switch from SD dv tapes to HD ones.

The spacers I bought came with some very small ring inserts, hard to explain, but they go into the actual spacer.

The distance the spacer adds between the camera and the lens is about half a centimeter.
