I Remember everything of this game..played since beta.. the time everyone was noob and didn't know how to play..the time where you run around to find other mobs in your lvl and die because they were 10 lvls higher..the time when you kill a mob and it dropped a weapon for your level and you jizzed your pants because of happiness.. now you join a clan and they give you full equipment and 100kk adena -.-..i miss this good times.. now its only power grinding LVL 85 asap! the game lost his magic :((

Holy crap guys i only can say that most of you are damn right. Nothing was so fun as begining of playing this game. Learning what the hell soulshots are, first character, wasting time not on exping or farming but on exploring the world which was (and still is but you already know it) MAGNIFICENT. I remember that my first clan leader said "GO EXP IDIOT" and i was wasting time on exploring Elven Forest and Talking Island. Ahhh memories :D

I'm personally waiting for TERA which is much more like Lineage II than AION was (NCSoft). But no wonder, a lot of people who worked on Lineage II is now working on TERA (Blue hole studios).

Believe me, if you liked Lineage II try out TERA.. (well this shouldn't been a commercial now here^)

the best of this MMorpg and all oldschool MMorpgs are.. the players made the game, and the game mechanism (pvp, sieges etc.) and not the story content like wow.

Lineage II had no instances at all, a completely openworld without loading screens.. an archaic politic/clan/pvp system..the atmosphere was aussum... particularly with these amazing OST's who created the atmosphere

We had a healer and 2 DPS, one necro and one archer, we would log into each others accounts, so it wouldnt be boring. Sitting under a tree for recovering mana, while listening to the game music... awsome!

i guess it won't be (lineage3) just because we are not the same people already moreover the way ncsoft changes lineage2 now is just terrible... so i dont expect for anything good from them...

you dont have to be sad, im almost sure that if you've been playing for a long period you can still stay in touch with old clanmates... usually once in a week i join my old clan ventrilo with old clannies and we just talk about stuff, so that its pretty interesting..

7 years of my life, since 2003... with its good times and bad times, with nights w/o sleep, with nerves, with lots of screams in ventrilo, with true-real life happiness and sadness caused by game wins or losses... all the precious time with my clans... those memories... and this 2 minute tune brings them back.. glad i had the opportunity to play this game, to know the people i got to know..

p.s. this theme is more than just nostalgy for me - all those years i've been playing light elf :)

These soundtracks remind you of the glory that is Lineage 2 in it's past and not only. The memories of it are so deep ,like roots ,but when you hear this melody ,it brings you back the noob inside of you , or should I call it the "Child". Because if we put it another way , we grew as players and now we miss that feeling ,of subtle innocence when we first started. And to me ,this song is like a breeze , like a Calling , whispers of Older Ages. Magnificent. :'(

@Rostas such a meaningful comment for an old player of L2, besides being the best starting zone theme, this song, for me, represents all that L2 is...I might not have grown up as a gamer in L2, but it did contribute and I grew up as an mmo player within this game, being so unique I did not take much of it into other games i've played, but whenever i hear/see something of L2 that uniqueness comes back and with it every hour spent in the game flows back and makes me feel great that I've played it
