Good info. You got me wondering... my boss is from the Midwest and he says "exspecially". He's educated, (his wife has a Masters in education and is a teacher) but for the life of me I could never figure out why he couldn't say "especially". Maybe it is a regional thing. Thanks for the thorough review. Cheers!
@KnqsX yes I would agree it has to be a midwest thing. Right now I am in Phoenix and I do sound different out here. People can tell just from talking I am not from around here. Thanks for watching and thanks for your comment. Take care.
Hi! I know a lot of these grinders are also useful for grinding spices and whatnot. I have a bunch of dried cayenne peppers from my garden last summer that I want to grind into cayenne powder. Do you know if this grinder would work for this? I love how small it is.
@88LJohnson Hello, thanks for the post. I have never used it for spices but yes I would think it would work perfectly. Each size has a perfect uniform grind I think I am going to try that. Thanks again.
@MrSuperjiva Hello my friend that was 17 seconds, but I did stop it early so you could see the crema. For this cup I could have run about 7 to 8 seconds longer. The video was to focus on the grinder not the espresso pull. I am planning on doing another video just to show the pull from the machine. Thank you for watching and commenting.
@talent2k So I just purchased a new steam wand tip and it is so much better than what came with the espresso machine! from Orphan Espresso, the Brooklynshot-Single-Hole-Steam-Wand-Tip They only had brass available and I don't have any plumbers tape, but for now it works really well! I also ordered a new basket and will have to make my portafilter bottemless.
I have a Delonghi EC155 and the mini mill and tried setting 2. Did you tamp prior to pulling your shot? The first time I tamped, the shot choked and only tiny drips came out. I tamped lighter the second time and the shot came out light in color. I am going to try again today to see if I can get it to pull a nice shot.
@modz9636 Hello, thank you for watching. I did tamp but really light maybe like 3 pounds of pressure. A normal tamp is 30 pounds. But since this machine has a pressurized portafilter the tamp has to be really light. Also the dosage scoupe that came with the machine I find works best if it is exactly full and not over filled at all. Please let me know if this helps. If not I will post a full video with showing how I tamp, etc. Thanks again and Happy New Year.

No, I want to mod it really soon. I will probably start with the steam wand and then the portafilter.

@modz9636 let me know how it works out. I would love to change the steam wand.
