@tobifan98 Hey Tobi, you definitely DO NOT have to have the wiimote to play this. Nesoid is still "OK" to play with no wiimote. If you want wiimote, you HAVE to have the app. But if you want to play Nintendo you can simply use the on-screen controls. It's ok, I just greatly prefer the wiimote.

When you get to SNesoid, I did not like playing with on-screen controls, because you have to hit the shoulder buttons. So you're totally good to go with no wiimote for Nesoid. Just a setting !

Are the on screen controls VISIBLE, but non-responsive ?

make sure virual keypad is checked "ON" in input settings.

Check your devices current settings/current input method...

so far, I can't get my on screen controls to NOT work.. let me know more about what you're experiencing.. Is this on the Xoom or other Android device? let me know, and don't give up this is awesome. Booya Cuz

@bdhenderson lol... I'm huge on super mario world, pilot wings, All the Final fantasies and of course, Super Mario Kart!

The major major tip is that you really need to rock the Wii CLASSIC controller for SNES because of the introduction to shoulder buttons. DAMN IT, I have to edit and release that video soon....

So funny, I get a lot of messages about this video ( our blog has the WRITTEN snes article, just no video yet ) We always end up talking about our fave SNES games. LOVE IT!

@BooyaGadget I'm definitely getting the classic controller for SNES and n64 games, and PSX games. If you can release a video showing PSX games whenever you get free I'd appreciate it too. I've bought FF7 about 4 and beat God knows how many times, and I can't wait to play it on a tablet lol.

@bdhenderson Well.... I messed with both N64 and PSx.. I uninstalled N64, even with the classic controller. I tried out Bond 007 and Super Mario Kart, and just did NOT have a good experience(controls). PLUS, N64 games are Legit size. I stopped at SNES. BUT I rock Ataroid ( amazingly small files, but it is atari ),

PSX I get mostly force close but still want to see it dance.  Spoiler on any future writeups, but I would TEST TEST before spending even 1 dollar on N64 and up ( PSX )... !

I have been taking it through the total booya ringer. spent wwaaaaay too much on apps and games though. but I like it, and I get to make more vids and writeups for the booya viewers.. fun device... very fun.

I just setup SUPER NES as well. N64 on the way.. you really should follow on twitter / FB we post info there a lot and often before we release etc.. booyagadget on flickr has a lot of pics on the Xoom and growing, i always post stuff there for the viewers. worth a visit.  we are so google-able it's crazy. just google booya gadget flickr :)

** I went back through the wii remote connection process and added 20 pics to booya flickr ** view the description of this video to get the helpful links. Should be enough to get you all set up. Try it first you may be able to do it without an assist. the key is manually mapping the Wii Controller buttons in the nesoid settings. after you're done SAVE YOUR PROFILE. Booya.

And at $40 per wii controller I wasn't willing to spend it to try ! nesoid has been around a looong time so I bet this question is online somewhere. nesoid also does have a NET-PLAY mode, but I never tested that either. I should though ! I would reach out to the nesoid developer or find comments etc on your very good question! sorry, not much help on this, but should point you in the right direction. thanks for watching and commenting. ~Cuz

@theonlydiego1 Exactly! Highly recommended too. Once you get the hang, it's quite easy. #1 tip is that I recommend you "SAVE PROFILE" after you manually map the buttons. It looks like it's already done, but it's a fakeout, you have to just go map a few buttons. up,down, left, right, a,b, start select. Then create and save a profile with your mappings. I called mine: "Wii Controller" profile for easy future reference.

Love this feature. Love OLD SCHOOL. BOOYA!
