@roge69charger Thank you! I'm glad you like the look of my layout. It is small and definitely still under construction, but I have put a lot of work into it and hope to improve it more soon. It's good to hear from a fellow model railroader and I agree that both scales are great.
I got them from a train store near where I live. I don't know where you are from, but the name of the store is Tacoma Trains and it is located in Tacoma, WA.
Very nice.....did you put a little bit of oil on the valve gear and pushrods on your Hudson? Lionel makes a maintainance kit for thier locomotives.....little bit of lube on the moving parts goes a long, long way.
Looks very solid and durable. Same with the Fleischmann and Maerklin engines overhere from that time. Only your Daylight Express looks very detailed and your Hudson supersolid. It looks like it will survive us as well.

For many yrs, I could never figure which one of the two scales I favor the most, O Gauge or HO Gauge, Because, The both of them are great.
I've had layouts in both scales.
Beautiful Layout, And, Locomotives are real hefty looking especially the Hudson.
And, it appears to be a small layout, Yet, It still looks really nice.
