I first had Manischewitz Blackberry Creme Sherry ("Made from Europe's Finest Blackberries") back in 1981. That's been discontinued, alas. The blackberry wine is delish, but it's just not the same. Also, it used to have a label design with a rabbi, Stars of David, perhaps a menorah- now it only has the slightest hints of Judaica. I like a show of ethnic pride, especially Judaic- and I'm a Goy!
Manischewitz is the best, I have two of those bottles sealed on my desk currently, its aroun $8.99 per bottle in my area to buy it...

I've been to the winery in Naples,NY. Picked up load of it (1500 cases). Too bad I didn't know u back then, coulda slipped ya a case or two =P

Makes me want to buy a bottle just to have on hand. I have tasted it before and it is SWEET...like syrup sweet. Wish I had a little nip now. LOL
