Hey bro, anyone can get a groove on, its all about the stoke really. Every surfer can attain it at any ability level. I remember this one shit day I had, unemployed, in school, trying to sleep away depression, took a drive down to the local break, super clean waste high to shoulder high. Pulled out my fish I have been riding for years, can't buy new boards. Had one of my best sessions, it pulled me out of my funk. Oh yeah I listened to Hendrix before going out, it helps. G luck!

Bede finally gets what he deserves and is sponsored by Fox. One of the best heats still to this day I've ever seen. It goes to show you have to surf pretty much perfect to beat Slater 98% of the time unless it's a waveless heat. Bede is a warrior and Kelly's by far my favorite Pro to watch.

Good heat but I think kelly had him, look at the amount of spray Kelly throws off the top compared to Bede. Thats how it goes though, bede knows Kelly 's level of skill.Contest are no mesure of a surfers skill level over all.Luck plays a big part

ONly the beginging of that wave was good. CUt backs suck. I would have gone vert hard as soon as exiting the barrel. You heard him local "that was the best barrel he got out there". Normally it would have been so over packed with people he would have settled for some scraps and that would have been me all over that barrel.

Ok first of all Bede doesnt suck, your just an uneducated moron. the whole heat was close but Bede scored higher with his stand up barell, Bedes 5cm taller than slater and stood right up while slater had to crouch. Kelly said him self Bede is my arch nemisis. No other surfer even comes close to the win/loss ratio Bede has with Kelly.
