Yes I too spent lots of money on lights could have gone on a nice holiday for what I spent. We have more than you but yours are much higher quality than ours. I like the way they sequence. Where did you get them from?
@peterb1968 They're GE Color Effects lights. I purchased them from Home Depot and Lowes in the US. I heard Costco has them too. They're hackable and the protocol is well documented on the internet. I'm building my own controller using an FPGA for next year.
