Ronnie Brown's good for points if Miami keeps with Wildcat. LJ's not raelly what I would call a solid 2nd RB, but hopefully you can move Wells into RB2 if he gets the carries.
Solid QB in Brees and great WR in AJ, MC, DJ, but I would drop Maclin and pick up a WR from another team since they're on the same team. Grab a WR from Minn. now that they have Favre. Perhaps Harvin?
Big Ben as a backup should be solid. AG at TE is decent, and Titans D, even without Haynesw should be good.
Whoever was in your league doesn't know much about football. I drafted the dude second last year behind MB3. And he almost had as many points as MB3, and wasn't even a full time starter. Now that Fred Taylor is gone, MJD should be money all year behind JAX great O-Line. I would've taken him 1st if I had had the pick, that's how much faith I have in him.
I sure hope so. He was listed as the best FA WR, so I snagged him. I think this is the first year I've ever had a 49ers player on my Fantasy Team. So I'm hoping this one pays off.
no he was a great pick but I would pick him in the 6th round unless he was the best available like you said so I get it. Hes a 6 rounder to me and how is Eli a FA great team
Eli wasn't a FA, I took him 8th, which I thought was quite a steal.
Yea, Cutler was the best option. He was great last year, and even though he's somewhat downgraded with WR's, he's still a great QB, a double threat with his arm and legs. I would have liked to have had Rodgers, because he is also a double threat, but he was taken before I could draft him. So I got the next best thing. So now I have 2 QB's that will probably be starters in most leagues, so like I said, excellent trade bait.
I wanted a QB, and he was the best available. I figured it'd be better to draft him then than have to settle for someone like Tarvaris Jackson or Kyle Orton later down the line. But I have Eli, so whichever one's better, I'll keep, and the other I can use as trade bait to trade for another star player, because you know a QB is going to go down to injury or lack of productivity. So who knows? Maybe taking him early will pay off in the end.
I'm more worried about the playoffs (Weeks 15 and 16). I've never gotten lower than 2nd place, so I always seem to lose in the Championship game in Week 16 because my players usually don't play well, or at all because it's near the end of the season. (I think last season, I got killed by Deangelo Williams when he had his TD extravaganza) so hopefully I can get overcome that week.
I plan on dropping one in the future for another RB (because 2 of my RB's have Bye Weeks the same week)
Of course I went with MJD. I would've picked him 1 overall if I had the chance. He was my second pick last year (behind MB3) and if he had been the main guy in JAX, he could've easily been the best RB fantasy-wise. It was no contest when I chose him. I've always had my eye on him since before he came in the league. And now he's finally arrived.
Yea, I had the 2nd overall, so when it came back to me in the second round, I knew there were 2 more picks until my 3rd round pick, and Johnson was the best player available, so I took him over the usual RB, and waited, and I got Ronnie Brown in the 3rd, so I think it paid off.
I grabbed Cutler because I hope he uses his arm and feet to score.
And I think the biggest steal was Eli at 8. With both Cutler and Eli, I can either switch them around or use one as trade bait.
Haha.EVERYONE who I tell my picks to (or show, in this instance) mentions the Roy Williams pick.
Half of them say it was a mistake, the other half say it was a great pick.
I'm a Dallas fan, so I'm inclined to think the latter. As Romo's new WR1, he'll obviously be the main target (other than Witten). He's a great WR, but you can only do so much on a team that has struggled constantly to find a consistent QB. Now he has that in Dallas, so I hope he succeeds. For the team's sake, and mine. haha.
Thanks. I think this is probably my best fantasy draft yet. I've never finished lower than 2nd in any of my leagues (not joking) so I hope to grab the top spot this season.
i thout it is dalas

Actually a couple of hours ago i traded Chris Henry and Desean Jackson for Gregg Jennings
So now i have #2, 6, and 9 ranked receivers :D
MonkeyBizProductions 2 years ago
Getting Henry was good, but getting rid of Jackson was not a great move.
Desean would definitely be part of the WIldcat for the Eagles, meaning he'd get not only receptions, but runs as well.
Hopefully Jennings has a great year though. He should be Rodgers #1 target.
