First of all, i absolutely want to hear the finished product of that thing you were making.

Second, here are some pretty sweet books that I recommend:

ANYTHING by John Green. This includes Looking for Alaska, An Abundance of Katherines (currently reading) and Paper Towns. He's a pretty amazing guy.

If you're into slightly scary stuff, I'd read all the babysitter books by R.L. Stine. They're pretty quick reads, super scary (well.... if you get freaked out easily... like me), and really

in expensive. The only thing is they're really hard to find in bookstores so you might have to order them on amazon.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Keasey. I actually had to read this for my English class last semester, and I honestly couldn't put it down. It's about this crazy veteran guy who goes to jail, and then pretends to be mental so they'll send him to the psyc ward (anything to get out of the slammer, eh?). So he goes to the psyc place and causes a disruption with all the other

patients. But it's pretty sweet. But slightly crude. But still really good.

Another really good book is 13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson. I've actually heard that a lot of her books are really good.
