  • @corriestewart the one I have of a sock is on here. You must have confused me with someone else. Good luck on finding it I hope you do.

  • six weeks or so I watched you knit a sock. I cannot find the video now. Did you take it off? It wasnt of the Christmas sock but of a regular sock. I really enjoy watching you, you make it look so easy.

  • @live2dance72 that is great I know that you will enjoy them and happy looming!!

  • Cool my grandma bought me them looms for my 11th birthday :) I'm almost 13 now so I've made lots of tuque s and stuff

  • I found a pattern for that ear lap hat on loom knitting patterns central.Just google pattern for ear lap hat loom knitting.

  • @kawaiiBagHead I do have a pattern in a book I will look at it and get back with you in a day or two on how to do this.

  • @crochethabit Do you know how to make earflaps on a knitting loom? I really want an earflap hat but I want to make it myself and using a knitting loom is the only way I really know how. >_<

  • here is the rest of the pattern: roll over used pegs. Roll 13 knit across.lifting bottom two loops on each peg over the top loop and off the peg. Then you would make the body of the hat on a 36 peg loom and knit as usual. The visor part I got from the Knitting Wheel fashions leisure Arts book. I hope this helps.

  • Thank you for your comments! If you are talking about a hat that has a visor on it like a pageboy cap. You would cast on that is e-wrap 15 pegs and knit to the third roll then on the third roll decrease on the first and last peg. repeat on rolls 4-6. Roll 7 increase roll knit across and e-wrap one peg then you would have 12 pegs in used. then repeat roll 7 three times until 15 pegs are in use.To form visor you lift bottom edge toward inside of wheel and place loops from cast on

  • I really liked your purple/pink/blue hat! It's too cute! I was wondering if you have any idea how I can make a hat with a little brim (i.e. a cabbie style hat) using a round knitting loom.

  • I meant to say to Rachel thank you very much for your comment!! I am glad you like them!

  • When I first got these looms I was so excited I believe I worked on things straight in my waking hours. It took a few days to make them all.

  • thats Awesome is it hard to do? how long did it take you to make these?

  • Thank you so much I am glad that you liked them!!

  • the colors are perfect for these hats and scarfs GOODJOB! i really like these

  • You are so welcome sonebone7. Thanks for your nice comments. Glad I could help!

  • Beautiful!!! I bought my loom a few days ago and havnt got started, I was checkn out videos first before making some hats and scarves thank you so much for showing your beautiful work!:))))

  • It has been a few years back but I believe it was wrap two pegs skip one and so forth all the way around. Or it could have been wrap two pegs and skip two all the way around the loom. You could try both I am sure they both would make cute hats.

  • How did you make the first pattern??

  • Thank you. You just make a pom pom to go on the top. You can make these with a pom pom maker that you can buy or you can cut a piece of card board about 3 or 4 inches wide and wrap your yarn around it how many times you want to make your pom pom thick. Then slide it off and tie a string of yarn around the middle ofit then cut the ends and fans it out and it makes your pom pom. Good luck.

  • Very nicce!

How did you do the upper part? the fuzzy part?

    thx

  • Thank you. You can get these looms here at Walmart or Micheal's or craft store. i got these at Walmart.

  • they are very nice , i would like to give that a go but i dont know were u get the looms from

  • Thanks for your nice comments. To make a flat scarf all you do when you are putting that first row on the loom. You leave one empty peg one side of that peg will be the beginning and the other side the ending of your scarf. Instead of working the loom all the way round you just work back and forth. Make it as long as you want it then bind off as usual. Hope this helps.

  • Great job! I'm trying to figure out how to make a flat scarf with the round loom but I am lost. I don't know how to read patterns I just do it by looking at it. I've messed two up already LOL.

  • Thank you for your comment I like trying new things also. Thanks for viewing my video. Have a great day! Thanks again!

  • Very nice - love those colors! I know what you mean by the hats looking breezy, but keeping you plenty warm! I've made one similar and they're cozy - at least they allow for the excess heat to escape a bit!

    Have fun and remember, experimenting is how we all find new ways to use the looms! Good luck! (c;

  • I do like the look that it gave the hats and they are warm. two strands of yarn was used on the last hat using every peg. I know this is not for everyone but it works for me. Wish I could take credit for the idea but it was in one of my loom books. Both patterns Thanks

  • I just went by the patterns that was in the booklet but that is a good idea. Thanks

  • you should use two balls of yarn to make one thicker piece so you won't get the gaps in the hat.

  • I think I might have a pattern in one of my loom books I will look after Christmas and I will let you know.

  • I meant to add also that many crochet patterns for hats have holes in their patterns as well. Thank you for viewing my video and like I said you have a right to your own opinion.

  • These I made from patterns that came with the looms. These are a lot warmer then you might think. Also these are great to wear most any time of the year. But to each his own. Thanks for your comment . They create a new twist to the loom. They are really cute I think. You have a right to your own opinion.

  • Ummm - the point of a hat is to keep your head warm. Stop skipping pegs and making hats that are more holes than hats!

  • The best thing about knitting/crocheting/loom knitting is that you can DO WHATEVER YOU WANT!

  • That was cute! Thanks I am glad you liked them!

  • OH DEAR GOD, THEY"RE ALL DECAPITATED!!!!! excellent work. love the beanies.

  • I am so glad you enjoyed the video of these items from the knitting looms. I have more to put up soon. Thanks !

  • I just busted my looms out & made a stocking cap & mittens for fall. Yours are fantastic, thanks for putting the vid up!

  • Do you have a pattern for mittens made on a loom?

  • Thanks it is fun to make. You should try it!

  • cool I wanna learn

  • Thanks so much! I went by a pattern out of one of the loom booklets!

  • oooooo i love that loom! your hats are a little different, you are doing a little loom trick that i would have never thought of! very nice!

  • The pattern for the hats that is a mix purple you wrap two pegs and skip one and the mix green hat I believe that one was wrap one and skip two or it was wrap one skip one. I made these over a year ago but either way it would make a great hat. I thought I would add this in case someone wanted to make them. Happy looming!

  • Thank you for the kind words. I sure you will enjoy loom knitting. I took my loom in hand and watch the how to videos here on you tube. It helped a lot. More so then the directions that came with the looms. I say give it a go! I have done a little of quilting it is a great craft as well. There are some beautiful quilts down through the ages. My mom loved to quilt she made some very pretty things! God bless you!

  • I love these, I am new to loom knitting! I am Love to crochet & cross stich & quilter but this is something new I have seen so I thought I would try! Any advice you can give me would be thankful, god bless ya
