School is boring because it contradicts everything learining is about. A school has more in common with a prison than anything else. Most of the time you are directed by others and no influence on lessons/curriculum/whatever. And it's expected from students learn in such an envoirenment? WTF! You can't dictate learning.
@Kosake82: I found that the way things run inside of school is drastically different from how they run inside a business.
The schools I went to did little to prepare me for life in the workforce, and much of what I use on a daily basis was stuff that I taught myself while I was pursuing my hobbies and personal interests.
The best career preparation anyone can do for themselves is to discover, pursue and develop those personal interests.
My thought exactly. The best way to learn something is to do it yourself. And to figure sth out you need motivation to do so. The only motivation in school for learining is to pass the next exam. The natural motivator is interest and curiosity in contrast to fear (if I have bad scool grades I get shitty jobs ect.). I get so mad if I thing of all the minds that get destoyed by this useless anachronistic machinery called school.
