I do a trick or treat every year at a church. this year, I took along my 10" JBL Eon 510's to play halloween music and sound effects. they sounded AMAZING even without a sub. Try breaking out your RCF's next year to play some halloween music and sound effects. I also took along my REVO III and pointed it at the ceiling of my EZ-up canopy. I think nowadays most people take their kids to the shopping centers and local Halloween events; There doesn't seem to be too many trick or treaters in the past few years. By the way, great use of the LED Messenger. I've been thinking of getting one, but I'm not sold on the limited coloration (top/middle/bottom always the same colors).

I think that is the best use of the LED messenger I've ever seen. Usually seems a bit "constrained" when I've seen it indoors, but even at that distance and vs a street lamp it looked to be in its element there!

Again, Trick-Or Treat was in my neighborhood on the 30th (Saturday) so the kids could go out at night & go to bed early for school on Sunday for School. The rest of the city is today during daylight hours. It also probably has something to do with Police being available to patrol. They can't cover the entire city block-to-block all at once.

I think they had it on Saturday in the city so kids could stay out later and get to bed in time for school and it probably also has something to do with Police overtime availability just to keep things safe.

It's also the big party night for adults to go out being Saturday and all.

Thats funny that your next door neighbor doesn't hear very well since living next to a DJ.Ya got it made there...lol ... Loved the shot of your dog guarding the bowl or eye balling the candy waiting for a treat....That light works really well..I was just planning to use a few strobes and color wash lights for effects with some props this year but we just got 6 inches of snow which may have to change plans,lol...Great vid!

The first time I tricked out my house for halloween (lights, smoke, face mask) a few years ago, I got absolutely SWAMPED with kids the whole evening because they'd go and spread the word on the street. That was also the LAST time I did it!
