about the voice part. that would be most helpful. i have to mute it because ENYA in wreched!! just my opinion but if i have to listen to that, i'll watch someone else's tutorials...
I need some help. I am at 1min. 24 sec 48 double crochet tie off and cchain three. The next pic shows the works not centered and when you fold the piece in half and plac the markers site b is off centered. Any help would be appreciated.
Part 3 can not open in Germany, because Unfortunately, this video which contains music from UMG, not available in Germany. GEMA has not given the publishing rights thereto.
If anybody is having problems with this tutorial please send me a message privately and I will explain to you what she is talking about. I have no problems following her directions. :-)
Ok I like this video but I'm stuck on the very last part of making a double crochet and not drawing threw, can someone direct me to another video, I have that last part done but now I'm stuck.
Hey guys i thought i'd help. I'm not an expert at crocheting but this is just if anyone needs it since nothings being answered. Some of this may be obvious but still.
- She's using a 3.00mm hook
-At 1:59 she turns the work so you're crocheting back over what you just did-backwards to what you were doing.
@sparkleinkcat -At 2:49 it says that you've made 3 decreases when you've only been shown 2- make and extra o it actually equals 3. You'll be able to tell if it's right when you do the next dc's there should be 2 on either side of your marker.

@sparkleinkcat thanks for listing the hook! I might do a video tutorial on this and do a step by step thing for people on this tutorial, a little later this week.
Hello, Can you please help me. I want to know how many double crochet decreases were made in total in the 6th row. (I think it started on the 6th row). Any assistance given will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
@jacqsroom She has the camera faced towards her project so you can see what you are doing. Some people can do left hand and right hand crochet, but not me.
That vid was great! I was having a difficult time learning what I thought was the most simplies project. This video cleared up so much for me. I guess I'm more of a visual learning.
I would like to thank you for your wonderful video. I did them a few times to get it right and make it look like yours. You are so talented, you do beautiful work. Please continue with your great work. God bless. One more thing...don't worry about some negative feedback. Look at all of the good ones, that's what counts, how many people appreciate your work. Thank you again.
Did u cut the yarn when going to the B site? Let me know A.S.A.P!!! I'm doing these lil' booties for my up coming in a few days new born nephew! wanna surprise them!
Now i know that you have all complained about this... and its ridiculous that not only around 4mins in does she not explain herself correctly.... but also is it me or is what I''VE come out with a half finished bootie?! Looks more like a shrunken slipper (without the shape needed to keep the actual bootie on!!) DISKLIKE GREATLY!
@mikeez13 When you finish the row before you get to side b, you will have to fasten off, but leave the tail to help mark side A. She starts 8 stitches away from the side b marker. I hope that helps
i too am a bit confused... i have gotten to the part where you count back 8 stitches from the centre of site b. when you say "slip 1 stitch" what does this mean.
@LiisaJF im quite sure she means the slip stitch, its a bit like the single crochet. you will already have one loop on the hook from finishing the previous crochet. then in the next stitch go through the stitch then yarn over and bring up a loop through the stitch, then you will have 2 loops, however the loop you just made needs to go through the previous loop...hope that makes sense. =)
@woodenshoelane i've already made one pair and the instructions were fine. There are some parts that are a litle hard to understand but its not hard to figure out. I"m working on my second pair with these same instructions :D
@ Alethiea8881, I have the same questions, but it looks like she's not going to answer it. lol I don't think she wants you to know, but guess what, I am an expert crocheter (35 years) so there isn't much that can be omitted that I won't figure out. The instructions in the video are vague and evasive for a reason. : )
Your work is lovely... but your instructions are really not that clear. You did not indicate whether to fasten off before doing side "B". How can you go from "tying it all together from the opposite side of the bootie, to counting eight stitches from the "ribbon" to begin the decrease? Also, you did not indicate in round 4, to work only in the front loops, in order to get the "free" stitches to embellish after the bootie is completed.
I rated this video poorly because of the confusing instruction & unanswered questions below .also BB are huge and wide! the toddler i gave them to kept removing them. "natural curiosity" IM disappointed but love the design. It would be nice if she would write down the instructions step by step OR remake the entire video as she crochets them herself using slow motion where needed without voice ..it's an option, hope shes not offended. doesn't look like she plans to answer us back folks!
thank you so much for these videos, i just have one question please can you tell me...
at 4:12 when i do the 1x chain stich do i cut the yarn from the back and start over at the 8th knot, or do i just keep the yarn on my hook and drag it across the BB and then chain one... thank you so much, i got this far with the bootee and it is looking good thank you
hi, i have watched part 1 and made the sole.but in part 2 i can view only from 4.10-6.28.i am trying to view the entire part 2 video from today morning as i really want to make the booties.can you please check the video?if possible, can u upload the part 2 again?thanks in advance
Sorry but these instructions are extremely confusing after you get the initial base down." dont draw through? then you starting a chain stitch by the ash? are u supposed to cut the yarn or bring it over?" I am by no means a beginner but I think the video loses something by not having voice and just showing pictures. Also I'm not sure what baby has this big of feet, but they are not baby sized! No offense just making some contructive critisism.
are these actually baby booties? they seem a little big when i make them...what size hook are you using?i also do not know if these are for newborns. please let me know so i can accomodate for this. thankyou, these are very very nice booties!
Was easy to follow, but it looks like for e 5/6month old baby, not for a newborn
