also the original series may be accused of questionable politics. Adam goes from a blonde who has questionable dress sense, to a muscle bound brown guy. Metaphor being (homosexuals and ethnics). Still at least the show was pretty redeemable compared to this 90s version.

This series does have continuation from the first series, but that said it's pretty poor. Come on summoned to the future. And why does he go from a skinny blonde to an even skinnier blonde with a futuristic sword which looks nothing like the old one? Also if She-Ra's still on Etheria, why would Skeletor follow He-Man, who's about to leave the planet? Surely the planet would finally be there for the taking if there was no He-Man?

Yeah, that kind of sucked. But I read somewhere that there were copyright issues that prevented the writers at Parafrance Communications from following the same lines that Filmation used in the original MOTU cartoon scripts :-/
